In the municipality of Orvieto in a quiet and panoramic position, immersed in the park of Monte Peglia, we find a well-renovated farmhouse (in 2011).
The main building of 180 square meters is divided into two floors and is composed as follows:
Ground floor consisting of a kitchen, a room that is currently a bedroom, a bathroom, a living room where the old “mangers” of the animals have been reused, the floors are in terracotta and the wooden beams decorate the ceiling.
On the right side of the farmhouse there is an independent apartment with a bedroom, a bathroom and a kitchen.
An external loggia leads to the first floor consisting of three bedrooms, a bathroom, a study on a mezzanine and a kitchen with a very characteristic fireplace.
There is a very large annex, about 360 square meters, of which 90 square meters have been renovated with wooden floors, frescoes and mezzanines. Another 45 square meters are occupied by an industrial kitchen and a dining room.
22 hectares of land of which 16 are wooded, 6 hectares of arable land and pasture including 200 olive trees and fruit trees. The property is completed by a groundwater source, Fonte di Falda, with cistern and electric pump, two cisterns for collecting rainwater and two ruins to be restored for a total of 43 square meters.
The property is located 5 minutes from Monte Peglia which since 2018 has been proclaimed as a reserve by Unesco for having found a balanced relationship between human activity and the conservation of human values.
