The farmhouse, which measures approx 320 m², consists of two interconnected units with a central part and is spread over two floors. The stone part dates back to the early 1900s. The house was renovated in 1994-95 with progressive renewal of all systems until 2014. The property is completed by an annex of 44 m² with oven, garage, warehouse and woodshed. The land of 8,000 m² is all fenced with 120 olive trees in production and other fruit trees. In the garden it is possible to build a swimming pool. A courtyard surrounds the entire building. As regards the utilities, there are electricity, network water, well water and gpl from a gas tank. In each part of the house the systems work autonomously. An irrigation system has been provided. In the newer part we find a kitchen with fireplace and sitting room, a library, a double bedroom, a bathroom and a laundry room on the ground floor. Outside there is a large panoramic terrace under a portico. Internal stairs lead to the first floor composed of a corridor, a storage room, two double bedrooms, two bathrooms and a balcony. In this part of the house there is also a basement which is accessed by internal stairs. It is used as a cellar and technical room.
This property is located in the village of Taizzano, about 8 kilometres from Narni. Within walking distance is the 11th-century church of Santa Pudenziana and an equestrian centre. There are trails and paths for mountain biking and hiking. Shops and services are in the immediate vicinity, in Narni Scalo. Connections are very good, both to Rome and to Orvieto and Terni. At Orte there is the A1 motorway exit and at Narni Scalo there is the railway. Many places of interest are close by, such as the historic centre of Narni or the underground city, Amelia, Spoleto, the Marmore Falls and the centre of Rome only 80 km away (an hour’s drive).
