Just over 20 minutes from one of 13 “green flag” soft sandy beaches, and 30 mins from Abruzzo airport. Walking distance to nearest beautiful medieval village and surrounded by several equally beautiful hill top villages including Montefino, Castiglione Messer Raimondo, and Bisenti, which is only 3km away. Bisentis signposts quote “welcome to Bisenti birthplace of Pontius Pilate” His house sits in the quaint village centre, and at the time of writing allows the general public to view it at no cost. It has a very quaint historic village centre, and in the main Piazza a stunning and very impressive church. There are two good sized supermarkets, bakery, several butchers, several bars and places to eat, banks, a fuel station, chemist, Doctor and dentist, ambulance station, Police, vets, a superb large very well stocked ironmongers, hairdressers and beauty, clothing shops, two tobacco shops, white goods outlet, farming and industrial outlet, toy shop, computer and mobile phone shop, chocolate manufacturer and outlet, log suppliers, post office, flower shop, two parks and much more.
