In the historic center of Amelia we offer a perfectly preserved period residence. It is much more than a noble palace as walking through the various rooms, the stratification of the various historical periods is still clearly visible. On the lower floor, mosaics from the Roman era have in fact been discovered and restored, bearing witness to the fact that the Palazzo stands on the foundations of an ancient Domus. Going up one level, you enter the cellars with ceilings covered with barrel vaults, dating back to the Middle Ages. The next two levels are from the Renaissance period and the hall on the main floor with its beautiful frescoes and floors deserves particular mention. The top floor, surmounted by a tower, is from a more modern era.
The Palace, thanks to a perfect alternation between rooms for private use and common spaces, lends itself to being a prestigious private residence or an accommodation business.
Two annexes insist on the courtyard, both restored. One annex houses a spacious laundry while the second houses a large dining room equipped with a professional kitchen.
Finally, there is a garage and other rooms to be finished, ideal for creating a wellness center or other rooms at the service of the Palazzo.
Amelia is a city of ancient origins and one of the first to be founded in Italy. It is believed that the first urban settlement dates back to 1100 BC. or about 350 years before the founding of Rome. As evidence of these origins, the megalithic walls are still visible. The city was therefore inhabited during all the eras of the history of Italy and still preserves evident traces of it today. Thanks to its proximity to the most important national communication routes, it is 130 km from Rome Fiumicino airport and other important centers of Tuscany, such as Florence, are easily accessible.
