Just 10 minutes from the historic center of Gubbio, this splendid property is part of a larger complex, located in a sunny and quiet, but easily accessible, position.
Originally conceived as an old farmhouse complex, the property consists of several apartments distributed on two levels, as well as a room on the third floor, located in the turret dating back to the late 1700s and rebuilt in the highest part in 1985, maintaining the original decor.
The main apartment, located on the first floor, is accessible via an external staircase and includes a living room with a room above connected by an internal staircase, a kitchen, three large bedrooms, a study and a bathroom. The entire living area overlooks an entrance terrace.
On the ground floor we find cellars and several multipurpose rooms, some of which retain the original features and are used as areas for processing grapes. Access to all the rooms is through a portico that frames the structure.
Adjacent to the main house, there is another pretty stone building, consisting of two independent rooms, one on the ground floor and the other on the first floor.
The property is completed by a fenced garden that also surrounds a small church dedicated to Sant’Antonio da Padova, dating back to 1720. In front of the garden, there is parking and a vegetable garden for a total of about 800 square meters.
STATE AND FINISHES:
The properties, currently inhabited, have standard finishes dating back to the 1985 renovation and are in a fair state of conservation. However, some areas require further medium-sized interventions.
The main house is finished with Florentine terracotta floors, wooden window frames with double glazing and wooden doors. The stone house, internally, has typical finishes from the 1960s and needs to be renovated.
OUTDOOR SPACES:
The garden, full of plants that bloom in rotation during the summer, from roses to wisteria, to fruit trees, creates a fairy-tale and surreal environment, full of colors and scents. The vegetable garden, located a short distance from the house, is convenient and well exposed.
USE AND POTENTIAL:
The complex is suitable for both private residential use and for hospitality activities. Its shape and the numerous independent entrances make the structure versatile and divisible at the owner’s pleasure.
