Property for sale in Santa Maria del Cedro, Calabria, Italy – IHSIC51

Santa Maria del Cedro old town is just 4 km from the beaches along southern Italy’s west coast. Elevated 110mtrs above sea level, many of the town’s properties offer sea views.

At the base of the old town the comunal buildings are surrounded by local shops and a bar. The historical centre is accessable by car with plenty of parking available.

The main piazza has a great restaurant, bar and a supermarket. While at the top of Santa Maria del Cedro, there’s a second restaurant and pizzeria. The locals are very welcoming as as the “stranieri” will testify to.

Along a row of terraced houses is a four storey renovation project. All the structural work has been completed leaving only studded walls to erect for room division.

The property is accessed by and arched entry into basement of the property. The original stone from the arch has been saved. This would make a great feature for the arched entry. Two rooms one a reception room and maybe the other becomes a cinema room. Stairs lead to the first floor.

This area has a terrace and stairs to the second floor. Plenty of space for a large bedroom and bathroom.

The second floor has a large terrace and views to die for. I guess it makes sense to have this as the living room and kitchen. Well you’d want to take advantage of that view, right?

The top floor has two balconies and the possibility of the main bedroom and bathroom.

In effect you have a blank canvas to create your dream home and all the help you require to renovate is on hand.

Plans are available on request.
