This property can only be described as enchanting: it appears to be an ancient tower watching over the lake below: actually, it is a new build, with high quality finishes, where authentic materials were used along with modern insulation techniques, where the solid structure of the house avails of ancient reinforcements such as trusses and old brick arches. It’s beautiful inside and out. From outside the structure in stone, rises above the water surface of the lake to be admired, surrounded by a garden planted on two levels (about fifty olive and cypress trees as well as fruit trees and almond trees), full of roses, flowers and well-kept lawn (with irrigation system). The garden is fenced and is accessed via two automated gates, one on the upper level and one on the lower level. In between the arches, wooden beams and stone walls you can see the glimpses of the lake and the beautiful surrounding countryside. Upstairs there is a large dining room, a living room with fireplace, a kitchenette, two double bedrooms, both with ensuite bathroom and a small balcony with lake views. From the entrance you go down to the lower floor where the vaults and roof trusses divide this wonderful large living room with central fireplace divided into several seating areas, reading hideouts and a dining room, a study, a kitchen: a game of space and light … again so charming. Here, in addition to the large living area, we find the master bedroom with ensuite bathroom and walk-in wardrobe, a second double bedroom with ensuite bathroom and a third bedroom, currently used as a wine cellar and a small bathroom. From the kitchen there is a French window that opens onto a private terrace where you can have breakfast in the morning, adjacent to the part of the garden which looks just like a green amphitheater. From the other doors you open onto the lake and the garden, where we find the beautiful pergola with jacuzzi (for six people) to cool down in the summer overlooking the lake. The heating system operates on a pellet boiler (using a tank that can hold up to 2300 kg of pellets at a time) which is located in the wooden shed in the lower garden, the system also works with the LPG gas, which is also used for cooking and for domestic hot water – in the Summer hot water is supplied by solar panels situated in the garden.
