Splendid farmhouse renovated in bioconstruction

In the countryside, surrounded by pastures and woods, we offer a large renovated stone farmhouse. The farmhouse dates back to the 1800s; it was totally restored in 2002 recovering all the materials: from the stones, to the tiles, to the wooden beams of the attic, to the vaulted ceilings of the hall, all restored in the typical Umbrian style. The farmhouse is divided into three apartments all with kitchen, living room with fireplace, bedroom and bathroom. On the ground floor, a spacious wooden and tiled portico gives access to a large dining room with ceilings over three meters high, a service bathroom and a professional kitchen with closets and hallways.
Outside, in a private area bordered by a hedge, we find a 7×14 m swimming pool with a play area for children, technical room and cellar. All around we find fruit trees: pomegranates, cherries, apricots, persimmons, walnuts, cork trees and olive trees. An oven and barbecue outside to enjoy lunches and dinners outdoors. Behind the property we have a 50 sqm annex to be recovered, with an old oven inside and a barbecue outside. The property is totally fenced.

The farmhouse is located in the municipality of Parrano, a small village in the province of Terni, in an area inhabited since the Paleolithic period. Parrano has always been known for its suggestive and wonderful five-story castle, around which develops the village. Nearby we find the Devil’s cavities which are located along the walls of the gorge of the Chiani affluent stream, with a thermal park located at the foot of the town; here you can find multiple pools of thermal water surrounded by greenery, ideal for enjoying relaxation and well-being.
