Palazzo in the historic centre with a breathtaking view of the Towers and the valley

Among the best-preserved monuments in Spello are undoubtedly the Torri di Properzio that flank the ancient Roman gate of Venus. The most beautiful view of the towers is from the road that climbs along the old Roman walls. Here we offer for sale a renovated historical building that enjoys a truly privileged position close to the Towers and offers a wide view of the surrounding hilly landscape and of the majestic town of Assisi. Numerous traditions are still kept alive today, such as the Infiorate that take place every June. It is pleasant to stroll through the numerous alleys between churches, squares and ancient monuments. One of the highlights is certainly a visit to the Baglioni Chapel, known for its cycle of frescoes by Renaissance artist Pinturicchio. On the gastronomic front, too, you will be spoilt for choice with PDO olive oil, delicious cold cuts and quality cheeses. The enchanting village at the foot of Mount Subasio enjoys a strategic position between Perugia, Assisi and Foligno. The arterial roads are excellent. The E45 is a stone’s throw away without any inconvenience. There is also a railway station. There are many good restaurants, winebars and deli shops in Spello. But other towns like Montefalco and Bevagna are also close by. Those who love nature and sports activities such as hiking, mountain biking or horse riding can explore the Mount Subasio Park.
