The place

Marinella di Selinunte, this beautiful seaside resort in south-west Sicily – famous for its Greek temples and its kilometres of beaches with soft, golden sand – invites you to swim in the azure blue sea and walk along the beach. Restaurants and cafés right on the beach provide refreshments and indulge in local specialities.

But that’s not all: ancient Selinunte, just a few hundred metres away, is famous for being the largest archaeological park in Europe. Here you can swim in the Mediterranean just a few metres below a fantastic Greek temple.
