Renovated farmhouse in a panoramic position

After walking down an avenue of cypress trees we reach the top of a small hill where, in a sunny and panoramic position, we find a large farmhouse from the mid 1800s that has been perfectly restored. The farmhouse is located halfway between Città della Pieve and Lake Trasimeno and is a few minutes from all services, while enjoying excellent privacy. The main farmhouse measures about 460 square meters and is ready to live in. From the main entrance opens a large and bright living area with kitchen equipped with an island and living room where there is an efficient thermo-fireplace. Adjacent to the living room there is a service bathroom, a study and a room used as a pantry. A staircase leads to the sleeping area where we can find a second living room and five bedrooms. Two of them have en suite bathrooms; two rooms share a bathroom. The master bedroom, twice the size of the others, has its own private bathroom and three windows overlooking the open views of the surrounding countryside. From the upper living room there is access to a small loggia, facing south. On the ground floor there is also a garage and a technical room. Next to the farmhouse is a 75-square-meter annex, possibly convertible into a dwelling, whose roof was completely redone in 2017. On one side of the annex there is an old wood-burning oven, still working. The property is surrounded by a park of about 20,000 square meters with 120 olive trees, fruit trees and vegetable garden. A panoramic terrace has been created near the farmhouse to enjoy the landscape at any time of the day. The farmhouse is equipped with solar and photovoltaic panels. There is no swimming pool but it is possible to build one. The farmhouse is an excellent starting point to reach the nearby bike paths or for nice walks in the countryside. Città della Pieve, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, is situated on the top of a hill separating Mount Cetona from Lake Trasimeno. It experienced its golden age in the Renaissance when it was awarded the title of “City.” It was the birthplace of Pietro Vannucci, known as Perugino, who was the maestro of Michelangelo with whom he collaborated on the Sistine Chapel. Thanks to its location, not far from the A1 and the railway line, it is well connected to all the most famous cities in central Italy such as Rome, Florence, Siena and Perugia. Fiumicino Airport can be reached in about 2 hours, as can Pisa and Florence Airports.
