Casa Marte is a semidetached 100sqm home in a once renowned farming hamlet in the Pian di Marte Valley where Hannibal marched his elephants to fight the Romans at lake Trasimeno.

The house is one of the first in the hamlet and has independent access through a portico that overlooks the farmers’ fields. The hamlet has no more than 6 separate dwellings.

The house consists in 3 floors, on the ground floor is the large Cantina with the original terracotta floor; on the first floor, entering form the loggia, we access the kitchen in which we find a stone open fireplace, on the same floor is the dining/living room; the second-floor, accessible through the ample stairwell, has a large double bedroom and bathroom. On the 0.9 hectares of land there are 2 agricultural buildings that combined make 50smq.

The closest towns are Castel Rigone that overlooks lake Trasimeno and in the other direction is Lisciano Niccone leading to Tuscany.
