A little further away is the city of Rieti, its province, 27 km away in 35 minutes via the pass of Fontecerro.
Heading south to Rome, we find access to the A1 in about 40 minutes, at Ponzano Romano, from which you can then reach the capital in about half an hour and Fiumicino airport in another 40 minutes.
Heading north to Florence, preceded by Orvieto, there is access to the A1 at Orte via Narni, in similar distances and times.
