Pian Di Marte

Nestled in the middle of a, once, farming hamlet located in the panoramic Pian Di Marte valley where Hannibal marched his elephants to fight the Romans at lake Trasimeno. The house takes the whole end of a central block looking over its flat garden of over 1000 sqm

. The hamlet has no more than 6 separate dwellings. The central and upper floor were fully restored around 2004 using reclaimed materials, hand fired terracotta tiles, new chestnut beams and cross timbers. The central floor consists of a large room of over 31 sqm (334 square feet) with a kitchen/dining and living area.

The upper floor is dedicated to two bedrooms and a shower room whilst in 2008 the owners restored the ground floor with its separate entrance to a one-bedroom apartment for guests also with a total usable floor area of 31 sqm.

The external walls have all been pointed and the overall property beautifully maintained. There is some room for improvement in the garden area and plenty of room for a pool.
