Stone house in a small hamlet

At 350 meters above sea level, there is a tiny hamlet in the municipality of Bevagna, overlooking the Attone valley. This characteristic tower-shaped house, three-story dwelling, with an external staircase, is located on the eastern side of the defensive wall of the hamlet.
On the ground floor, with red-colored flat tile floor, there is the living area with fireplace, kitchen and small storage room, under the outside staircase.
A flight of stairs leads to the sleeping floor with two bedrooms, one single, one double, a bathroom and an entrance hall that serves as a study, on the second floor two bedrooms and a bathroom.
The house has an extraordinary north/east view of the valley below, where nature, the woods and its hiking trails are numerous and suggestive to walk.

Bevagna is one of Umbria’s most resonant villages, the arts and traditions are annually celebrated with the “Gaite” event, a celebration of ancient crafts, where iron, glass, paper, and fabric return to be worked with ancient tools of the past. It is an evocative journey back in time to experience among the medieval streets and stone houses.
Very close to any other town or village Bevagna reaches easily, Assisi only 35 minutes away, Foligno (13 minutes away) where we find hospital and all the services necessary, Assisi airport 26 minutes away, Perugia 37 minutes away by car.
