This beautiful townhouse, free on all four sides, is located in the charming village of Contignano, right in the centre of the Natural Park as well as a UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Val d’Orcia. The property, which occupies an entire building within the medieval walls of the town, has been finely restored by reusing the typical materials of these areas, from the original Tuscan terracotta flooring to the elegantly restored typical ceiling joists. The hinterland offers the food and wine itineraries typical of these areas from the characteristic shops where you can buy wines and cheeses to exclusive restaurants and wine bars with increasingly sophisticated menus and wine lists. The art towns of Pienza and Montepulcaino are within 30km, as well as the spa towns of Bagno Vignoni, San Casciano and Chianciano Terme. It can be easily reached from both North and South as the A1 highway that is about 20km away, Rome and Florence are less than 2 hours driving. The nearest train station, about 25 minutes by car, is in Chiusi, with local or fast trains to most important Italian destinations.
